Tinian Elementary School (TIN) sits on over five hectares of land in the heart of San Jose Village. The school is surrounded by the San Jose Church, the public library, a health clinic, a police and fire department, post office, and private businesses and residences. It is from this location that our stakeholders interact daily to provide our students with the best possible education.
A variety of ethnic groups attend our school: indigenous Chamorro (58%), Filipino (30%), Chinese (4%), Bangladesh (2%), Japanese (2%), Korean (1%), Carolinian (1%), Indian (1%) and Nepalese (1%). Males comprise 54% of our student population and females comprise 46% of our student population.
